Let's say you've got a lot of documents that you're finally trying to get up on your web site. The only problem is these were never meant to be on a web site! They've got URLs in them, but they're naturally not linked and the thought of wading through all those pages or the DB and adding the appropriate links isn't something you're looking forward to doing.
